Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex server environments (Linux/Windows) ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for network outages and hardware failures.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans and regular data backup procedures.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor system performance metrics and proactively tune systems for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysAdmin are highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
