Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations for enterprise security
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/SolarWinds and resolve incidents within SLA
- Execute patch management, backups, and disaster recovery protocols
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline automation
- Document network architecture and create technical SOPs
- Lead cross-departmental IT projects from conception to deployment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent experience
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Certification in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Server+
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash/Python)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Proven network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS benchmarks)
- Ability to work flexible hours on-call rotation
