Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level Windows/Linux server environments
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) including VMs, containers, and serverless solutions
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability patching, access control, and compliance audits
- Optimize system performance through monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
- Develop automation scripts using Ansible/Terraform for deployment efficiency
- Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity protocols
- Mentor junior administrators and document IT infrastructure blueprints
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expert-level AWS/Azure certification (e.g., Solutions Architect)
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python/Bash)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Security clearance eligibility or existing clearance preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills with 24/7 on-call rotation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent certification
