Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based (AWS/Azure) infrastructure
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Proactively monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Design and execute disaster recovery plans and system backup procedures
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting (Python/PowerShell)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expertise in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing)
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware)
- Experience with scripting automation and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP) preferred
