Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Linux and Windows Server environments
- Proactively monitor system health using Zabbix and Nagios to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and Terraform
- Manage AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure with cost optimization focus
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls and IDS/IPS
- Document system architectures and create operational playbooks
- Lead incident response and disaster recovery initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Certification in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Server+
- Advanced scripting skills in Python/Bash/PowerShell
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs)
- Proven incident resolution documentation and root cause analysis
