Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible for operational efficiency
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network configurations
- Document procedures, create runbooks, and conduct system audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT operations with business objectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in Azure/AWS cloud services and virtualization technologies
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent) highly preferred
- Scripting proficiency (PowerShell/Python/Bash) for automation
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds)
