Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Oversee network infrastructure including switches, routers, and VPN configurations
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and lead incident resolution for critical systems
- Design and execute disaster recovery plans and system backup strategies
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert-level certification (CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or Linux+) required
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
