Join TechSolutions Inc., a leading innovator in cloud infrastructure, as we seek a Senior System Administrator to lead our critical IT operations in downtown Chicago. You'll architect, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level systems supporting 500+ employees across 3 data centers. This hybrid role offers flexibility while collaborating with elite DevOps and security teams in our modern River North office.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Linux/Windows Server environments on AWS/Azure
- Manage enterprise-level networking (Cisco/Juniper) and security protocols
- Lead system migrations, disaster recovery planning, and 24/7 on-call rotations
- Optimize cloud infrastructure costs and performance across multi-cloud platforms
- Mentor junior administrators and document SOPs for compliance audits
- Automate workflows using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering Linux/Windows Server environments
- Expertise in AWS/Azure with 3+ years hands-on experience
- CCNA/JNCIA or equivalent networking certification required
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam/Commvault)
- CI/CD pipeline management (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
