Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and Splunk to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Lead infrastructure security initiatives including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance with NIST standards
- Automate operational workflows using Python, Ansible, and Terraform for efficiency and scalability
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system outages and coordinate cross-functional incident responses
- Document infrastructure configurations and develop runbooks for disaster recovery scenarios
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience administering Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Expert-level knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting proficiency in Python/Bash for automation and infrastructure-as-code
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cloud certifications (AWS/Azure)
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex network and storage issues
- Strong communication abilities for collaborating with development and security teams
