Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement automation frameworks using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Monitor system health via Nagios/Prometheus and resolve incidents within SLA
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Lead security compliance initiatives (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Document system architecture and create runbooks for operational excellence
- Mentor junior administrators and contribute to IT process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Active Directory, VMware, and AWS/Azure ecosystems
- Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPN)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- ITIL certification preferred
- Proven track record in high-availability environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
