Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches and advanced persistent threats
- Develop and optimize security playbooks for incident containment and recovery
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional security drills and tabletop exercises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat analysis role
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network security protocols
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail under pressure
- Ability to maintain CISSP or equivalent certification
