Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and malware investigations
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for threat mitigation
- Collaborate with network teams to implement security controls
- Generate comprehensive threat intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Lead incident response coordination during security events
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- Certifications: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CEH preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network analysis
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with NIST and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Active Security+ or equivalent certification required
