Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments
- Lead incident response investigations and remediation
- Develop security dashboards and executive reports
- Collaborate with IT teams on security hardening initiatives
- Implement and manage security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis or related role
- CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure incident scenarios
