Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced prompt engineering strategies for LLM applications including GPT-4, Claude, and custom models
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries with version control for enterprise-scale deployments
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to optimize output quality, safety, and efficiency
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behavior through iterative prompt refinement
- Create documentation and training materials for internal teams on prompt best practices
- Monitor AI system performance and implement prompt-based solutions for emerging issues
- Stay current with emerging AI capabilities and integrate new techniques into workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI interaction design
- Proven track record of developing production-level prompt systems for enterprise applications
- Expertise in Python and experience with AI frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex AI output inconsistencies
- Exceptional written communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt engineering projects and measurable performance improvements
