In this role, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and support of our internal systems and networks. You will work closely with development and security teams to ensure seamless operations and high availability.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise Linux and Windows server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
- Implement and manage cloud solutions, primarily on AWS or Azure, including VMs, S3, and IAM policies.
- Enforce security protocols and perform regular vulnerability assessments to protect company data.
- Automate routine tasks and deployment processes using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Monitor system health using monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and respond to alerts proactively.
- Lead backup and disaster recovery planning, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
