Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other data communication systems.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and software applications.
- Ensure system security by implementing firewalls, access controls, and regular security audits.
- Monitor system performance and capacity to prevent downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware or software issues efficiently.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages to improve productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
