Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows servers, virtualization (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Automate system administration tasks using Python/PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor performance metrics with tools like Nagios/Zabbix and resolve incidents within SLA
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
- Document system configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Lead system migrations and capacity planning initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise-level infrastructure
- Expertise in Active Directory, LDAP, and enterprise networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or Microsoft Azure Administrator
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Experience with monitoring tools and automation frameworks
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR)
