We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team in Miami, FL. As a critical member of our infrastructure backbone, you'll ensure the seamless operation of our cloud and on-premise systems while driving innovation in a high-growth environment. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Windows/Linux server environments supporting 500+ endpoints
- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, and VPC configurations
- Oversee network security protocols, firewalls, and access control systems
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backup/restoration procedures
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical business applications and databases
- Document system configurations and create operational runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture patterns
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Proficiency in network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting capabilities (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
