Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect company data and assets.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy applications and resolve production issues.
- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python/Bash) to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are a plus.
