Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments
- Automate system deployments using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Monitor and optimize network performance with Zabbix and Nagios
- Lead security hardening initiatives and compliance audits (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab
- Document system architecture and create runbooks for operational excellence
- Provide 24/7 on-call support with scheduled rotations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V)
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking and firewalls (Palo Alto/Fortinet)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex multi-tier systems under pressure
