Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments across on-premise and cloud infrastructure
- Implement and monitor network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Oversee Active Directory administration, user provisioning, and permission management
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response coordination
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning, patch management, and automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and system migrations
- Document IT processes, create runbooks, and maintain system documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Certification in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or CompTIA Server+ preferred
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to document technical processes
