Responsibilities
- Server Management: Monitor, maintain, and upgrade server hardware and software to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Security Compliance: Implement and manage firewalls, antivirus, and data backup solutions to protect sensitive company data.
- Network Administration: Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and configure routers and switches.
- Active Directory: Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies within the Active Directory environment.
- Scripting & Automation: Use PowerShell or Bash scripts to automate routine administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
- Hardware Support: Oversee the procurement and installation of new hardware and peripherals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
- OS Knowledge: Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux environments.
- Certifications: Active MCSE or CCNA certification is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
