Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Linux/Windows server environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible and Terraform
- Manage cloud resources across AWS and Azure with cost optimization focus
- Implement security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, access controls) per NIST standards
- Monitor system performance using Splunk and Grafana dashboards
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing
- Mentor junior staff on DevOps best practices
- Document SOPs and runbooks for all critical systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Advanced cloud certification (AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) and automation tools
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancing)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
