Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and access controls
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Document system configurations and create technical documentation
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals
- Certification in CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure, or AWS preferred
- Experience with virtualization technologies and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
