Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud infrastructure
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and data restoration procedures
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues across enterprise systems
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Collaborate with network teams to ensure seamless integration of IT services
- Document system configurations and update IT asset management records
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Windows Server administration (2016/2019)
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere preferred)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
