Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds, proactively resolving bottlenecks
- Execute disaster recovery testing and cybersecurity protocols including patch management
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document SOPs and create technical runbooks for complex systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016+ and Ubuntu/CentOS
- Expert knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud services and networking fundamentals
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure Administrator preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network security principles
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues with minimal supervision
