Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux server environments (Active Directory, VMWare, AWS)
- Implement and monitor network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Perform system backups, recoveries, and disaster planning
- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell/Python scripting
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues with SLA adherence
- Document IT infrastructure and update configuration management databases
- Collaborate with cloud migration initiatives and hybrid cloud solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise-level experience
- Expert knowledge of Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- CCNA or equivalent network certification required
- VMware vSphere and AWS/Azure cloud platform experience
- ITIL foundation certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
- Proven problem-solving with complex technical environments
