Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise-level security protocols
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Document systems, create disaster recovery plans, and conduct regular audits
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux distributions
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and automation tools
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification required
- Proven experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and firewalls
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance and incident response
