Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions supporting weekend-critical systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable microservices architecture
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Write clean, testable code following industry best practices and CI/CD methodologies
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain quality standards
- Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development with modern frameworks
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python, or Node.js)
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
- Experience with RESTful API design and database optimization (SQL/NoSQL)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Ability to work independently in a weekend shift environment
