Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network assets
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks, runbooks)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze threat intelligence and implement proactive countermeasures
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Manage security compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with hands-on incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container environments
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and common attack vectors
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
