Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential breaches using SIEM tools like Splunk and Sentinel.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and compliance frameworks.
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with legal/compliance teams during breaches.
- Perform log analysis and threat hunting to identify network anomalies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to harden systems against evolving attack vectors.
- Provide security training and awareness to staff members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or SOC Analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Proven experience with SIEM platforms and endpoint detection systems.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (if applicable).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
