Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain complex Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) environments.
- Implement and manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management solutions.
- Monitor system performance, health, and security to ensure 99.9% uptime and data integrity.
- Configure and secure network firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Develop and execute robust disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and mentorship to junior administrators.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Linux administration.
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IP networking.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, firewalls, and encryption.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or RHCE are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
