Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization environments, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Manage Active Directory, user permissions, and security protocols to ensure data integrity.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Certification such as CompTIA Server+, AWS Solutions Architect, or VMware VCP is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and routing technologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, specifically VMware.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
