Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliability of on-premise servers, virtualization environments, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Network Administration: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure secure network architecture for all company assets.
- System Security: Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and identity management systems (Active Directory) to protect sensitive data.
- Backup & Recovery: Develop and execute robust backup strategies, ensuring data integrity and successful disaster recovery procedures.
- User Support: Provide advanced technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders, resolving complex hardware and software issues.
- Automation: Script routine tasks using PowerShell or Python to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- OS Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Networking: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
