Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-level Windows/Linux systems across on-premises and AWS/Azure environments
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system restoration procedures
- Automate administrative tasks using Python/PowerShell and configuration management tools
- Document infrastructure architecture and create comprehensive SOPs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with business objectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux administration
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- AWS/Azure certification (e.g., Solutions Architect) preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Deep understanding of security best practices (NIST, CIS benchmarks)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
