Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with a focus on Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard the organization's data, applications, and networks.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and scale IT solutions that align with business goals.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and mentor junior administrators to foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Document all system configurations, processes, and changes to ensure compliance and easy troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in System Administration, including Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, RHCE, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Proven experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
