Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across 500+ endpoints
- Implement and maintain Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure solutions
- Oversee network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
- Automate system monitoring with tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior team members
- Document IT procedures and compliance frameworks (SOX/HIPAA)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Active Directory and Group Policy
- Strong Azure/AWS certification (AZ-104/AWS SysOps)
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash) for automation
- Security certifications (Security+, CISSP preferred)
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation abilities
- Ability to work flexible on-call rotation schedule
