Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Document SOPs and create technical knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Windows/Linux system administration
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash) for automation
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam/Commvault)
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs for hardware maintenance tasks
