Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Linux/Windows server environments
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms
- Lead disaster recovery planning and system hardening initiatives
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document infrastructure configurations and create runbooks
- Provide Tier-3 support for critical production systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server
- AWS/Azure certifications (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Deep knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and containerization
- Security hardening and compliance expertise (SOC2, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities
