Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of server infrastructure, including Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Implement and manage network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs to protect sensitive corporate data.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patch management, and troubleshooting of complex hardware and software issues.
- Design and execute disaster recovery plans and regular data backup strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate deployment pipelines using scripting languages.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory structures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Proven expertise in managing cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and VLAN configurations.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
