Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments in AWS and on-premise data centers
- Implement automation using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning
- Monitor system performance with Nagios and Grafana, resolving incidents within SLA targets
- Manage enterprise security frameworks including firewalls, VPNs, and identity access management
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover tests
- Document IT infrastructure using Visio and Confluence for compliance audits
- mentor junior sysadmins through technical training sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering enterprise Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda) with professional certification
- Proficient with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP) and Cisco/Juniper experience
- ITIL v4 certification or equivalent IT service management knowledge
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring stacks
- Proven incident response handling with Jira and ServiceNow
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
