Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, VMWare, and Kubernetes
- Proactively monitor network infrastructure using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios to prevent outages
- Lead cloud migration projects on AWS/Azure while ensuring zero downtime for critical business applications
- Develop automation scripts (Python/PowerShell) to streamline deployment and configuration management
- Enforce robust cybersecurity protocols including vulnerability assessments and compliance auditing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators during critical incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux RHEL/CentOS
- Expert-level knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and Cisco/Juniper hardware
- Proven cloud proficiency with AWS/Azure services including EC2, S3, VPC, and Azure AD
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation tasks
- VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V virtualization administration certifications (VCP/MTA)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools
- CI/CD pipeline management using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification (CompTIA, MCSE)
