Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments using VMware and Active Directory
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and automate workflows with PowerShell/Python
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and lead disaster recovery planning/testing
- Document system configurations and develop SOPs for operational excellence
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for enterprise systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure Administrator
- Experience with network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Proven incident response and root cause analysis capabilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
