Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments including virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs)
- Develop automation scripts (Python/PowerShell) for deployment and monitoring tasks
- Conduct system audits, vulnerability assessments, and disaster recovery testing
- Provide Tier-3 support and collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines
- Document SOPs and train staff on best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with proven cloud experience (AWS/Azure)
- Expertise in enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS) and backup systems (Veeam/Commvault)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent
- Strong scripting abilities and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and ticketing systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
