Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios and Splunk to prevent downtime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services for seamless user access
- Execute disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly DR testing
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Ansible for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with security team on vulnerability assessments and patch management
- Document IT infrastructure and create SOPs for compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022 and Ubuntu/CentOS Linux
- Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with Azure/AWS cloud services and hybrid architectures
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Ability to manage high-priority incidents during off-hours on-call rotation
