Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize on-premises and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance frameworks
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform
- Monitor system performance and resolve critical outages
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines
- Document IT infrastructure and create disaster recovery plans
- Mentor junior IT staff and implement best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Linux/Windows Server environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Cloud architecture certifications (AWS/Azure preferred)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios)
- ITIL foundation certification
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
