IndyTech Solutions is urgently hiring a skilled System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to make an immediate impact.
In this role, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and security of our critical server infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations and drive technological innovation.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and support network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect organizational data and comply with industry standards.
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and documentation for IT systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server (Active Directory) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS).
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and networking concepts.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in an urgent environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
