Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Implement and optimize automation solutions using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Monitor system performance using Splunk, Nagios, and ELK Stack to proactively resolve issues
- Manage enterprise-level networking components including Cisco firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute regular DR testing
- Collaborate on security initiatives including vulnerability assessments and compliance audits
- Document IT infrastructure, procedures, and runbooks using Confluence
- Mentor junior sysadmins and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise systems administration
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- AWS/Azure certification with hands-on cloud infrastructure experience
- Proficiency with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and containerization technologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
