Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure platforms
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and Python scripting
- Lead security hardening initiatives and compliance efforts (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Manage network infrastructure including Cisco firewalls, load balancers, and SD-WAN solutions
- Provide tier-3 support for critical systems and mentor junior administrators
- Optimize storage solutions (NetApp, Pure Storage) and disaster recovery protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Linux/Windows Server
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Certifications: AWS SysOps Administrator or Azure Administrator preferred
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Proven experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Datadog, Splunk)
