Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Oversee cloud infrastructure deployments on AWS/Azure with a focus on scalability and cost optimization
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response coordination
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible for operational efficiency
- Document system configurations, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with business objectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with enterprise-level environments
- Expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and cloud service models
